In terms of music, there are countless genres, artists, and songs available at our fingertips thanks to the internet. Music is a powerful tool that can bring people together, evoke emotions, and even inspire change. If you feel like the world lacks music, exploring new genres, attending live performances, or even learning to play an instrument yourself might be a good idea.

As for love, it is a fundamental human emotion that’s present in all cultures and societies. Love can be found in various forms, not just romantic love but also love for family, friends, nature, and oneself. If you feel like there is a lack of love in the world, it could be helpful to focus on the positive relationships in your life, practice kindness and empathy, and remember that everyone has the capacity for love.

Remember, your perception of the world can be influenced by many factors, including your environment, experiences, and mindset. If you ever feel overwhelmed, talking to someone you trust about your feelings might be beneficial. You are not alone in this; people are always willing to help.

This is a thought that can be pretty disheartening. Let us explore this together and see if we can unravel this mystery. This is a question that many people ask themselves, especially in times of hardship, violence, and injustice. How can we find joy and peace in a world of pain and hatred? Where is God in all of this?

The answer is not simple, but it is not impossible either. God is always with us, even when we do not feel His presence or hear His voice. He loves us unconditionally and wants us to love Him and each other. He created music as a gift for us, a way to express our emotions, praise Him, and connect with others. He also gave us His Word, the Scripture, to guide, comfort, and inspire us.

The Bible is full of verses that speak about music and love. Here are some examples:

Psalm 98:4-6 “Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song and sing praises! Sing praises to the Lord with the lyre, with the lyre and the sound of melody! With trumpets and the sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!”

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” 1 John 4:7-8 “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.” These verses show us that music and love are gifts from God and ways to worship Him and share His love with others. Music and love are not absent from the world; they are everywhere if we only open our eyes, ears, and hearts to see them.

So why do we sometimes feel like there is no music and love in the world? Maybe it is because we are too distracted by the noise and chaos of the world or too focused on our problems and worries. Maybe it is because we have forgotten how to listen to God’s voice and follow His commands. Maybe it is because we have stopped singing His praises and loving His people.

Nevertheless, we can change that. We can choose to tune out the negative messages of the world and tune in to the positive ones of God. We can choose to read His Word and meditate on His promises. We can choose to sing His songs and share His joy. We can choose to love Him and love others as He loves us. That is how we can bring more music and love into the world. That is how we can make a difference. That is how we can glorify God.

Remember, your perception of the world can be influenced by many factors, including your environment, experiences, and mindset. If you ever feel overwhelmed, talking to someone you trust about your feelings might be beneficial. You are not alone in this; people are always willing to help.

In God we Trust, and Amen,
