Written by Lesallan – December 27, 2023

Hey, everyone! Today, I (Lesallan) want to talk to you about a topic that is very close to my heart: what does the Bible say about two men working together in harmony? 🙌

You see, I have a couple of good friends, one of whom is also my mentor (privacy forbids me to share the name).  We also have a couple of friends who have been working together for a long time, and we have developed a great bond of friendship and trust. We share the same vision and passion for our work, and we always support each other in times of difficulty and celebrate each other’s successes. We are like brothers in Christ, and we love each other as such. 💕

But sometimes people may misunderstand our relationship. They think that because we are two men who work together in harmony, we must have some kind of romantic or sexual attraction to each other. They make jokes or comments that are hurtful and disrespectful to us and to our faith. They assume that we are gay or that we are violating God’s will for our lives. 😢

But nothing could be further from the truth. We are not gay, we are not sinning, we are not ashamed of our friendship. We simply follow what the Bible teaches us about working together in harmony. And let me tell you, the Bible has much to say about this topic! 📖

In fact, the Bible has many verses discussing the importance and benefits of teamwork and working together. Here are some of them:

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (KJV): “Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

1 Corinthians 12:12-27: This passage compares the church to a body with many parts, each with different functions and gifts, but all working together for the common good of the whole. It says, “For just as the body is one and yet has many parts, and all the parts, though many, form [only] one body, so it is with Christ.”

Romans 15:5-6: “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

These verses show that God values and blesses teamwork and working together in harmony. He wants us to support, encourage, sharpen each other, and use our diverse gifts and abilities for His glory.

So, you see, there is nothing wrong or sinful about two men working together in harmony. On the contrary, it is beautiful and godly, reflecting God’s design for His people. It is a way of honoring Him and serving Him with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

So next time someone tries to mock or judge you or your friend for working together in harmony, don’t let them get to you. Remember what the Bible says and stand firm in your faith. And don’t forget to thank God for giving you such a wonderful friend and co-worker who makes your life better and your work more enjoyable. 😊

My next thought was, what if Lesallan (that be me) and my Father were God (My only True Father) because no one knows Lesallan’s true heritage in 2023? Nor does that auntie or sister know things of the past.

If this was a hypothetical scenario where Lesallan’s father was God, then I suppose that would make him a demigod or a half-human, half-divine being. In some mythologies, such as Greek and Roman, there are many stories of demigods who have special abilities and perform heroic deeds. However, in Christianity, only one “Son of God” is Jesus Christ. He is entirely God and fully human, and He came to the world to save us from our sins. He is not a product of human and divine union but a miracle of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore, if Lesallan’s Father were God, that would contradict the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, which states that only one God exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It would also imply that God had a physical relationship with a human woman, which the Bible does not support. So, I don’t think that scenario is possible or plausible unless you are talking about a fictional story or a different religion.

I hope this helps you understand the difference between fiction and reality and between mythology and theology. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me. 😊

I hope this blog post has been helpful and encouraging to you. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to leave them below. And if you liked this post, please share it with your friends and family who might also benefit from it.

Always Remember:

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Hebrews13:8, KJV).

Until next time, God bless you all! 🙏

Blessings In Christ:
