Week Five Student Prayer- Lesallan

Jesus Teaching Future Disciples

Heavenly Father, we come before Thee with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, as Moses did in Thy presence. We honor Thy name, O LORD, and are moved by Thy compassion and grace. As it is written, “The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth” (Exodus 34:6, King James Version).

Lord, we acknowledge Thy patience, love, and faithfulness. We thank Thee for Thy enduring love and forgiveness of our sins. Please help us to embody Thy character, showing compassion and grace to others. As students, we face many challenges and temptations. Grant us wisdom and resilience to make decisions that honor Thee. Remind us of Thy faithfulness and guide us in our studies, relationships, and personal growth. “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him” (James 1:5, KJV).

We ask for strength in our studies. Please help us to stay focused, motivated, and diligent. Give us clarity of mind and perseverance to overcome obstacles. “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13, KJV). We also ask for patience. In moments of frustration or stress, please help us remain calm and trust Thy timing. Teach us to be patient with ourselves and others, knowing Thy plans are perfect. We rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him (Psalm 37:7, KJV).

We seek Thy wisdom. Guide our thoughts and decisions, and help us to discern what is right and true. Fill us with understanding and insight. We also ask for Thy guidance, for we know that it is You who leads us on the path Thou hast set for us, and helps us to follow Thy will in all we do. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6, KJV).

We ask for strength in our relationships. Help us to build and maintain healthy, supportive connections. Give us the courage to communicate openly and the grace to forgive and seek forgiveness. “Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye” (Colossians 3:13, KJV). We ask for peace of mind. Amid our busy schedules and pressures, grant us Thy peace that surpasseth all understanding. Calm our anxieties and help us to rest in Thy presence. “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7, KJV). Let Your peace be our constant companion.

We ask for joy. Fill our hearts with Thy joy, that we may find delight in our studies, relationships, and daily activities. Help us to see Thy blessings in every situation and share that joy with others. “For the joy of the LORD is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10, KJV). We ask for courage. Please give us the bravery to face our fears and stand firm in our faith. Please help us take bold steps and trust Thou art with us. “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest” (Joshua 1:9, KJV).

We ask for resilience. Strengthen our spirits to withstand challenges and setbacks. Please help us to bounce back with renewed determination and faith in Thy plan. “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31, KJV). Finally, we ask for perseverance. Grant us endurance to keep going, even when the journey is challenging. Please help us stay committed to our goals and trust Thy’s strength. “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season, we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9, KJV).

We recognize Thy justice, Lord. While Thou art forgiving, thou dost not leave the guilty unpunished. Help us understand accountability and strive for righteousness. May we bow in worship, as Moses did, acknowledging Thy sovereignty and seeking Thy guidance. Fill us with Thy Spirit so that we may walk in Thy ways and bring glory to Thy name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

In Christ Blessings,

Lesallan
