Devotional: Embracing Inner Stillness in a Noisy World
In our modern lives, noise surrounds us—from the hum of daily traffic and technology to the endless chatter that fills our schedules. Yet, as Psalm 46:10 (New International Version) beautifully reminds us, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth” (Psalm 46:10, NIV). These words invite us to pause amidst our busyness and welcome a sacred stillness into our hearts. In this quiet, we can peel away the layers of distraction we have created and rediscover the profound depths of our identity, our purpose, and our connection with the Divine.
